A proportioner precisely dispenses foam concentrate into the water flow at mixing ratios (commonly1%, 3%, and 6%), with a wide flow range.

A proportioner, in conjunction with a foam concentrate storage tank and foam discharge device,forms a complete foam fire extinguishing system.

Using a flange connection, the proportioner must be installed with the arrow pointing in the direction of water flow. It can be installed vertically or horizontally, but a straight pipe at least five times the pipe diameter should be installed laterally to help ensure proportioning accuracy.
